Student of The Month
Dan T
Each month we love hearing the stories from our teachers about how passionate and talented their students are.This month we spoke with Jerry about one of his students whom has proven to be a dedicated musician. Dan is 7 years old and completing his first year here at our academy in September, and is more than ready to receive his Rock Star trophy! We asked Dan a few questions about himself and here is what he told us:
What instrument do you play? Piano
How long have you been taking lessons? 13 months
What is your favourite song to play? Etude in C Major
What is your favourite food? Pizza
What is your favourite thing you’ve learned in class recently? Hanon
What is your favourite colour? Blue
We asked Jerry to tell us a little bit more about Dan, and this is what he told us:
“Dan is always enthusiastic when he comes to his lessons and is a real pleasure to teach. He not only does what is asked of him, but his drive to become better makes him consistently seek out more and to go above and beyond”
Dan and his brother William are both very hardworking students, and we’re so happy to have them as a part of our Academy.
Congratulations on all of your hard work Dan, and we look forward to seeing you get your Rock Star trophy soon!

Teacher Appreciation Week!
Did you know that World Teacher’s Day is on Saturday October 5th this year?
In our lives, we have many people that teach us things: from school teachers to parents to doctors to– you guessed it, music teachers! We love all of our teachers at the Academy and hope that you do too, so why not share some of that love soon? From Monday September 30th to Sunday October 6th we want to encourage students to tell their teachers about how they’ve helped them grow and made their musical journey one to remember. Whether you make a card, draw a picture, write a poem, compose a song, or just say a simple “thank you”, be sure to make all the teachers in your life feel special and show them what they mean to you.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all of our teachers at MFAA and we look forward to many years of working together!
